I recently bought a waterproof blanket . After trying it out, I feel it’s generally good, but there are also some small “surprises” and complaints. I can’t help but share them with you.
Blanket material and sound experience
first took the blanket out of the dryer and shook it out, I noticed a noticeable rubbing noise from the different materials on the front and back. This reminded me that it’s indeed designed to be “waterproof”—the front and back materials are clearly separated, but the noise is a bit noticeable when moving. Although it felt a bit strange at first, I gradually got used to it.
Waterproof test: amazing dry feeling

Surprisingly, the air was trapped beneath it for a full 30 seconds, making it look as if something was moving stealthily beneath. Then, I poured a cup of water over the blanket and let it sit for a moment. When I lifted it , the tile floor beneath was still dry, completely devoid of moisture. That’s when I truly appreciated the waterproof blanket ‘s effectiveness. Later, I placed it over my legs, and it felt warm and dry—perfectly comfortable as a regular blanket. Even more interesting, I left the blanket to air-dry, and it was nearly dry by the time I went to bed after about four hours. And completely dry the next morning—really convenient!
Delivery experience: a little embarrassing
However, the biggest issue with this blanket was the delivery speed. Initially estimated to arrive in 4-5 days, it took two weeks to arrive, with the delivery date rescheduled several times. While I understand that logistics can be unpredictable, it was a bit of a hassle. Fortunately, the blanket itself was of good quality, which helped me finally get over the worry.
Pet-friendly: Suitable for puppies and shedding cats and dogs
This blanket is perfect for pets, especially puppies or those with urinary and bowel issues. Its waterproofness gives me peace of mind, as I don’t have to worry about getting my floors or sofas wet. I even look forward to my dog using it, as he sheds quite a bit, and it protects the furniture while providing a comfortable resting place. It’s also perfect for camping or picnics; no need to worry about wet floors or seats; just lay it down and sit comfortably and dry.
Small complaint: Material movement is a bit strange
The only slightly annoying thing I found was the slight sound and feel of the different materials within the blanket shifting during use. For me, used to a single, integrated blanket , this layered design felt a bit unnatural at first. However, this is part of the waterproof design—to prevent water from seeping through, the materials can’t be completely fixed together. Overall, this minor drawback didn’t detract from the overall user experience.

Overall, this waterproof blanket is very practical:
Soft and comfortable – the front is plush and soft, comfortable against the skin;
Strong waterproof performance – the bottom remains dry after pouring water test;
Suitable for pets and families – can be used by puppies and shedding pets, and is also convenient for camping and picnics;
Dry naturally quickly – it will dry completely within a few hours after pouring water;
Minor drawbacks – there’s a slight noise when the material moves and the delivery is a bit slow, but it doesn’t affect the overall experience.
Overall, I would give this blanket 4/5 . While there were some minor issues with the delayed delivery and slight shifting of the material, the blanket’s comfort, waterproofing, and versatility are exceptional. For pet owners or those who need a waterproof blanket, this blanket is definitely worth buying!
